and, gotta say we just found it "Ho hum"...didn't feel at all any chemistry between Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy although, otherwise, they were both serviceable. The fantastic Maggie Smith (Prime of Miss Jean Brodie) was greatly underused, though she did add a sparkle to the film for each second she was present. It was also nice to see Anna Maxwell Martin...of course, she just gave reminder to superior costume dramas such as Masterpiece Theatre's Bleak House (starring The X-Files' Gillian Anderson).

What We're Watchin...
Okay, since it was our anniversary/valentine evening, we decided we had to go with the most "romantical" Netflix movie we had at home and that ended up being Becoming Jane (as the other choices were either a movie about a violent rape, a kidnapped child or an act of adultery...somehow, those didn't fit the mood). Sooo, this movie was about the life of Jane Austen...
