Last night, we watched The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. It was a really good movie, also very long and somewhat dreamy. Casey Affleck was absolutely mesmerizing as Robert Ford. Seeing performances like that makes Devin's "acting bug" act up. Brad Pitt was his usual self...never really gotten the appeal... a blonder and, if possible, blander Tom Cruise. Here's the trailer...you can get a sense of the dreaminess to it and I love the narration, which appears sporadically throughout the film.
