After this and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Casey Affleck is fast becoming one of our favorite actors. He is far superior to his older brother in the field of acting, however, big brother Ben did direct Gone Baby Gone to much deserved accolade. The movie was gritty, thrilling and surprising. Like most "twist" movies these days, it got a bit convoluted and contrived but the acting and directing certainly saved it.
